What benefits does the new engine portfolio offer?
The new C-Class Saloon is equipped with an advanced M254 Evo 4-cylinder petrol engine with mild hybrid and 48 V on-board electrical system. With an additional overboost function, the engine provides 20 kW (27 hp) of additional power for approximately 30 seconds in the 190 kW output level.
The OM654M EVO 4-cylinder diesel engine equally has a 48 V on-board electrical system, while noise and vibration are also reduced to ensure smooth, impressive performance.

The new C-Class also includes a plug-in hybrid model that offers the best fuel economy in its class and is capable of delivering up to 100 km electric range.
