The V-Class does an exceptional job combining low consumption and emissions values with high driving comfort and agile driving characteristics. With its powerful and low-consumption engines the V-Class is shining the way to a promising future.

    Measures that reduce consumption and emissions:

    • More efficient OM651 4-cylinder diesel engine in 3 power outputs, consumption-optimised by internal engine measures
    • Euro 6c M1 emissions standard with SCR technology BlueTEC. In the SCR catalytic converter, with the help of the NOx reducing agent AdBlue®, the nitrogen oxide is converted into nitrogen and water
    • 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission, allows the operation of the engine at low speeds and thereby reduces the consumption – available as standard or option depending on engine
    • BlueEFFICIENCY measures, for example on-demand auxiliary units
    • BlueEFFICIENCY Package, for example with ECO start/stop function and Fuel Efficiency Generator (available as standard for the V-Class, the V-Class AVANTGARDE and the V-Class EXCLUSIVE)

    The V-Class reduces consumption and emissions with simultaneously high comfort and agile driving style. The top engine V 250 d [combined fuel consumption: 6.8 l/100 km; CO2 emissions: 179 g/km] [2](*) has 440 Nm torque and acceleration of 9.5–9.7 s from 0 to 100 km/h offering lots of driving pleasure with little consumption.
