 | | Customers have been personally collecting their new Mercedes‑Benz vehicles at the Sindelfingen plant since 1953. The Mercedes‑Benz Customer Centre Sindelfingen was opened for this purpose in 1981 – the first Customer Centre of its kind in the world. In 1999 it was redesigned. Since then customers from all over the globe have been taking advantage of the opportunity to pick up their new vehicles in person. As part of a fascinating plant tour, they can visit the birthplace of their Mercedes and often spend a few days in an environment rich in history and excitement.
